Three well-known Sydney venues have been listed for sale, becoming the latest victims of pub tycoon Jon Adgemis’ bankruptcy.
The Empire Hotel in Annadale, Hotel Diplomat in Potts Point and South Bondi Hotel, formerly known as Noah's Backpackers – just three of the assets formerly in Mr Adgemis’ Public Hospitality group portfolio - are all set to be sold.
Lender Deutsche Bank also took over Claridge House in Darlinghurst and The Exchange Hotel in Balmain in September following Public Hospitality's collapse.
McGrath Nicol were appointed as receivers of the five establishments, while KordaMentha were made administrators.
The Empire Hotel on Parramatta Road had since been listed by HTL Property as having “well-balanced and diverse income streams” that generated about $3.5 million in annual
