Motorists in Perth’s northern suburbs are being asked to plan ahead, with major traffic changes set to take effect next week as part of the Stephenson Avenue extension project.
The temporary Cedric Street southbound off-ramp in Innaloo will be permanently closed from 9pm Friday, November 14.
Until the new permanent Stephenson Avenue southbound off-ramp opens in early December, drivers will have to use alternative routes.
Motorists will need to exit earlier at the Karrinyup Road southbound off-ramp to reach northern Stirling and Innaloo, or later at the Hutton Street southbound off-ramp for Osborne Park and southern Stirling and re-enter the freeway northbound.
Main Roads said the off-ramp needed to be closed to safely complete works on the new Stephenson Avenue off-ramp.
