NILES Police and first responders were on the scene of what was described as a possible stabbing in the parking lot of a Niles plaza.

An employee working in a business in the plaza on U.S. Route 422 near State Route 46, otherwise known as the Gentry Center, told 21 News a couple was arguing with a man in the parking lot when one party allegedly stabbed a male victim in the neck.

A large police presence had then been reported at the Days Inn on Route 422, which is less than a mile away from the plaza.

The Niles Police Department confirmed the felonious assault and reported that they located the suspects at the Niles hotel with the help of surveillance footage from the surrounding areas' security cameras. According to Niles police, the two suspects are in custody.
