TBILISI (Reuters) -Georgia’s prosecutor-general’s office has launched criminal prosecution against former President Mikheil Saakashvili and seven opposition leaders, Interpress news agency reported on Thursday, citing Prosecutor-General Giorgi Gvarakidze.
The case was opened on allegations including sabotage, assistance to a foreign country in hostile activities and financing activities against the constitutional order.
