Donald Trump has repeated a threat of military action in Nigeria sharing a video saying that America will “do things to Nigeria that Nigeria’s not going to be happy about” if the killings of Christians continues.

The U.S. president shared videos on Wednesday repeating messages he has previously posted on Truth Social. The origin of the videos are unclear. Newsweek has contacted the White House in an email sent outside of regular working hours for comment.

Nigeria has vehemently denied that Christians in the country are being targeted for their religion, arguing that they are part of the many people falling victim to terrorists plaguing parts of the country.
