The Board of Control for Cricket in India is preparing a fresh attack on Mohsin Naqvi amid Asia Cup tensions, with the latter refusing to hand over the trophy to the victorious Indian team after the Suryakumar Yadav-led side didn’t receive it from him following the final due to cross-border tensions.
A list of charges has already been prepared, but it remains uncertain whether Naqvi will attend the upcoming ICC meeting. Earlier media reports suggested that he might miss the event due to ‘domestic political problems’.
As per a report by Telecom Asia Sport, sources have revealed that the BCCI has prepared a list of charges against Naqvi and intends to challenge his eligibility to hold dual public and sporting positions.
