Hugh “The Mad Bavarian” Bernreuter had a disappointing playoff hangover Saturday, and it had nothing to do with a 9-2 record for predictions in the first round of the tournament.

Saturday was also Day Two of the Madman’s traditional Halloween festivities, which included the annual 50-percent off Halloween candy spree to augment the sugar high from Oct. 31.
