A 28-year-old man from Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar died by suicide after a video showing him and a friend urinating in public went viral online. Police said the man jumped into a well in Thokmal Tanda, Jalna, after facing repeated harassment and threats over the incident.
The viral video showed the two friends urinating below a signboard reading “Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar" at a railway station. As the clip spread widely across social media platforms, the men issued a public apology. However, despite their apology, the victim allegedly continued to receive abusive messages, threatening calls, and relentless online harassment.
