Painter falls from 100 ft high overhead tank, dies

HASSAN: A painter fell from a height of over 100 feet and died while painting an overhead tank in Makavalli village, Holenarasipur.

The deceased has been identified as Akash (31). He was standing on an iron rod fixed to the overhead tank and was painting it. The iron rod broke, causing him to fall from the tank.

The police have visited the scene and are investigating. The incident occurred within the Holenarasipur Rural police station’s jurisdiction.
