Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins said he disagrees with County Executive Jessica Fitzwater's formal position statement calling for an end to the 287(g) immigration enforcement program in Maryland.

Fitzwater's position statement was presented to the Frederick County Council by county staff members on Tuesday as part of her annual package of legislative requests to the Maryland General Assembly.
