Football icon David Beckham, 50, has officially been knighted for his “services to sport and charity” at an investiture ceremony hosted by King Charles at Windsor Castle. The former Manchester United star, now Sir David Beckham, received the honour 22 years after being appointed an OBE in 2003. Beckham’s wife, Victoria, who will now be known as Lady Beckham, celebrated the milestone online, writing, “You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official. I couldn’t be prouder of you.”
