COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has put himself in prime position to take home some major awards this season.
Sayin was named as one of 14 semifinalists for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award on Wednesday. The Buckeyes’ signal-caller has put together a stellar season in his first year as a starter, and with four regular season games left, is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.
