Team India pulled ahead into the lead against Australia in the five-match T20I series with their 48-run win over the hosts at the Carrara Oval on Thursday.
India set the Aussies a target of 168 runs to win penultimate game of the series and bundled out the hosts for 119 to secure a 2-1 lead.
Australia opted to put India to bat first after winning the toss as Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the innings for the visitors. The duo put up a 56-run partnership for the first wicket before Adam Zampa sent Sharma back to the hut for 28 off 21 deliveries.
