The Indian government’s efforts towards making all essential services digital have made essential identification easier than ever. The Election Commission of India (ECI) now allows seamless integration with the official government cloud platform for files and data storage, called DigiLocker. This has made it easier for citizens to download their digital Voter ID card, officially known as the e-EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card). This could come in handy for voters during the ongoing Bihar elections 2025.
