The Saskatoon Blades — fresh off a lengthy, and difficult, road trip to the United States — are back on home ice this weekend.
They’ll resume Western Hockey League play Friday and Saturday against the Moose Jaw Warriors and Calgary Hitmen, respectively.

The Blades are back at home, where they sport a 5-1-0-0 record in six games thus far this season.
They are 10-6-2-0 overall, and are tied for third in the WHL’s Eastern Conference.
The Blades picked up just one win during their six-game road trip through Washington and Oregon, going 1-3-2 on the West Coast swing.
Saskatoon secured its lone win on Oct. 28, defeating the Tri-City Americans 4-2 thanks to three unanswered goals in the third period.
