The Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) has taken its fight against cybercrimes targeting women to the national level, submitting a memorandum to the National Commission for Women (NCW) in New Delhi on Thursday.
The memorandum, presented by Komal Chamling on behalf of the party, highlighted recent incidents of cyber harassment and rape threats directed at Yojna Khaling, Spokesperson of the SDF, and Reema Chapaghai. The SDF urged the NCW to ensure an impartial and thorough investigation by the Sikkim State Commission for Women, stressing the urgency of action against those responsible.
