It can be incredibly frustrating when you discover unsightly dark marks in your loo that refuse to budge with regular cleaning products. If your toilet bowl appears brown, you're likely battling limescale.

Limescale forms from mineral deposits found in water - a widespread issue across the UK. Over time, it can develop a brown appearance due to iron content in the water, and also because a chemical reaction takes place when urine meets limescale.
