SAN ANTONIO — 13 people lost their lives almost five months ago when flood waters swept through the northeast-side taking cars with it.
The city is expected to give results from a study they commissioned to get to the bottom of what happened.
The City of San Antonio hired the firm Kleinfelder to really analyze how cars got swept into Beitel Creek. Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m., the results from that study will be presented.
15 vehicles were swept into Beitel Creek, taking 13 people’s lives with it on June 12. As we’re nearing the four month anniversary, Councilman for District 2, Jalen McKee-Rodriguez, who has seen the presentation and results, says the analysis did provide him answers to questions he was looking for.
