The Boston Celtics got to 4-5 on the season on Wednesday with a resounding victory over the Washington Wizards at TD Garden. Jaylen Brown made some Celtics history with 35 points, five rebounds and five assists in just 26 minutes, and Boston’s second-leading scorer on the evening was Josh Minott, who dropped a career-high 21 points to go along with five rebounds and three steals.

Minott’s performance was another reminder of how savvy a signing he was by Brad Stevens.

Minott’s now averaging 9.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game without playing crazy minutes (22.5 MPG so far). He was praised by teammate Jaylen Brown following the Wizards route.
