Anne Arundel Community College President Dawn Lindsay announced plans to retire after 13 years at the helm of the school, according to a Wednesday news release from the college.
“The dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment of our faculty and staff to student success have been a constant source of inspiration. Together, we have embraced challenges and opportunities with integrity and creativity, always striving to advance the mission of this remarkable college,” Lindsay said in the release.
Lindsay started out as a social worker. She grew up in Harford County and got her master’s degree from McDaniel College in Carroll County. In 1997, she earned her doctorate from Pepperdine University and set a goal to become a college president. She was named in 2012 and is the sixth pre
