SEATAC, Wash. — The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is among those expected to see flight reductions during the ongoing government shutdown, both NBC and CNN report.

The FAA announced plans Wednesday to reduce air traffic nationwide by 10% due to strain on air traffic controllers during the government shutdown. Federal employees, like air traffic controllers and TSA agents, are not getting paid while the government remains closed. It is now the longest shutdown in the nation's history.
