“Sex spies” from China and Russia are reportedly emerging across the United States to try and steal the country’s technology and state secrets.

One of the many men recently targeted includes James Mulvenon, chief intelligence officer at Pamir Consulting, which provides risk assessments for American companies investing in China.

“I’m getting an enormous number of very sophisticated LinkedIn requests from the same type of attractive young Chinese woman. It really seems to have ramped up recently,” Mulvenon told The Times of London.

But it’s not just online. He says two women physically showed up at a business conference in Virginia last month.

“We didn’t let them in. But they had all the information [about the event] and everything else,” Mulvenon said.
