Prince Harry is visiting Toronto today to meet with some of Canada’s oldest veterans. This visit is part of his two-day trip in connection with Remembrance Day events. The Duke of Sussex, who has military experience from his service in Afghanistan, will be at Sunnybrook Hospital’s veterans centre.
Sunnybrook Hospital hosts the largest veterans centre in Canada, providing support to over 300 veterans from the Second World War and the Korean War. The Duke's office confirmed that his visit is at the invitation of the True Patriot Love Foundation. This organization is dedicated to supporting Canadian military members, veterans, and their families.
In addition to meeting the veterans, Prince Harry is scheduled to attend a dinner tonight organized by True Patriot Love. This event will conclude his visit to Toronto. His previous trip to Canada was in February, where he participated in the Invictus Games held in British Columbia.
Prince Harry's engagement with veterans highlights his ongoing commitment to supporting military personnel and their families, reflecting his own background and experiences in the armed forces.
