GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Temperatures are finally starting to return to the averages, but today is a transitionary period with conditions still warm. Mid-sixties are expected for the Grand Valley with a slight uptick in breezy conditions as well. Mostly sunny skies can be expected for the next several days. Tonight, expect mostly clear conditions to continue as well. Temperatures will stay above freezing, though barely. Mid-thirties for Grand Junction will usher in close-to-freezing temperatures for the next week or so. A series of disturbances will bring light mountain snow to the northern mountains today and again Friday evening, with 1 to 2 inches of snow possible with each event and limited impacts.
