ORCHARD PARK - Sometimes, coaches just make things more difficult than they need to be, and that sure seems to be the case with Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady in regards to tight end Dalton Kincaid.
Kincaid, the Bills’ first-round pick in 2023, is starting to finally feel like he’s living up to his draft status and now, all he needs is for Brady to stop gluing him to the sideline as frequently as he does.
“I’ve got to continue to evolve and do a better job of getting him involved where the balls aren’t necessarily just going to him, but he’s out there on the football field,” Brady admitted on Monday, one day after Kincaid caught six passes for 101 yards and a touchdown despite playing just 23 snaps in the 28-21 victory over the Chiefs.
