Opposition parties have raised serious allegations against right-wing leaders, claiming they voted in multiple states, which they describe as "proof of vote theft." The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and Congress specifically pointed fingers at Rajya Sabha MP and RSS ideologue Rakesh Sinha. They shared screenshots of Sinha's social media posts, which indicated he voted in the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, 2025, and again in the Bihar Assembly elections on Thursday.
AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj expressed his concerns on X, questioning how Sinha, who teaches at Delhi University’s Motilal Nehru College, could claim a voter registration in Bihar. He stated, "Do you think the BJP will reform if caught stealing? Not at all; they will continue to do it openly. Even today, fake monitoring continues at the AQI stations."
The opposition also alleged that BJP Delhi Purvanchal Morcha president Santosh Ojha and party worker Nagendra Kumar participated in voting in both states. In response to these accusations, Rakesh Sinha denied any wrongdoing. He explained that he had transferred his voter registration from Delhi to his village in Bihar, stating, "I never imagined politics could fall to such a low level. Those questioning the faith of people who respect the constitution should think a hundred times before speaking."
Sinha further clarified that he had previously been on Delhi’s voter list but moved it to his village Manserpur in Begusarai as he became more active in Bihar politics. He also hinted at the possibility of filing a defamation suit against those making these allegations, asking, "Should I file a defamation case for this baseless accusation?"
