President Donald Trump reacted to Rep. Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) decision to retire by calling her "evil."

"The retirement of Nancy Pelosi is a great thing for America," Trump told Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy on Thursday. "She was evil... Corrupt... And only focused on bad things for our country."

"She was rapidly losing control of her party. And it was never coming back," the president continued. "I'm very honored she impeached me twice and failed miserably twice."

"Nancy Pelosi is a highly overrated politician."

During a recent interview with CNN, Pelosi called Trump "a vile creature" and "the worst thing on the face of the earth."
