STOUTSVILLE, Ohio — Fire crews from multiple departments responded early Wednesday morning to a commercial fire at a privately owned grain storage facility on Railroad Street in Stoutsville.

According to the Clearcreek Township Fire Department , the call came in around 7:00 a.m. , reporting smoke at the site. When Engine 513 arrived, firefighters found moderate smoke coming from a 900-bushel tower dryer .

After completing a full inspection of the scene, crews discovered a hole at the back of the dryer where flames were visible. A working fire assignment was immediately initiated, bringing assistance from seven neighboring departments .
