A tragic incident occurred on Thursday morning in Garhdeshwar, near the banks of the Baitarani River in Odisha’s Bhadrak district, when three siblings were accidentally swept away while taking a bath. According to local sources, two of the children have been rescued, while one young girl is missing.

The mishap took place when two sisters and their brother, accompanied by their cousin, went to the riverbank to take a bath in the morning. While bathing in the river, they reportedly slipped into deep water and were swept away by the strong current. The incident occurred near a shallow stretch that suddenly deepened due to recent water flow changes.
