HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Christmas in the Country opened Thursday at the Hamburg Fairgrounds, marking its 41st year with more than 450 artisans, including nearly 40 first-time vendors.

The four-day market features handmade gifts, home décor, gourmet foods, toys, and more.

Dan Kaczynski, the event's organizer, said the fair continues to grow through word-of-mouth recommendations. “I think you can see up front Altyn’s work is incredible. Patty Talbot’s perfume, amazing. We welcome people from all across the country. We really grow organically where artisans refer other artisans to our event because Western New York does support this event so well. So yeah, we’re really excited to welcome almost 40 new members to the Premier Promotions family.”
