No. 9 Oregon could find it difficult to score points Saturday at No. 20 Iowa, but the Ducks might not be required to reach the end zone often to defeat the Hawkeyes.

Iowa’s offense features a physical rushing attack, but its passing game, led by transfer quarterback Mark Gronowski, will be one of the weakest Oregon has faced.

Although the Hawkeyes have scored more points lately, they have done so against defenses not as athletically gifted as Oregon’s.

With rain expected, this game could come down to Oregon (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) avoiding costly turnovers and successfully moving the ball on the ground. Chances are, Iowa (6-2, 4-1) won’t put Oregon in a position of needing to post a high number on the scoreboard to win.

Nonetheless, Iowa is a threat to win.
