An agricultural spill occurred on Sunset Avenue in Clinton, near the intersection with Pierce Street, on Tuesday afternoon.

The spill spread baby chicken carcasses on the road, along with other unidentified byproducts. The driver who caused the spill has not yet been identified, as police continue to check street cameras.

At the October meeting of the City Council, Mayor Lew Starling announced that the council would be enacting some new ordinances within the next few months to issue penalties and criminal citations to drivers responsible for agricultural spills.
