Christina Giordani won Tuesday’s election in Bellevue and will keep her seat as mayor. She won 377 votes, or 60.32% of the total votes cast.

Challenger and City Councilwoman Suzanne Wrede won 39.68%, or 248 votes.

“Thank you to my neighbors and community for the opportunity to serve you for two more years,” Giordani stated in an email to the Express. “I look forward to furthering the progress we have made so far with an even greater commitment to strengthening infrastructure, enhancing public safety, and addressing growth.”

Giordani wrote that she will continue to “lead collaboratively and foster an environment that reflects our collective values and ensures everyone has a voice in Bellevue’s future.”
