ITANAGAR, Nov 6: With a view to brace youth-to-youth connect between eight Northeastern states and the rest of India through the Ministry of DoNER’s Ashtalaxmi Darshan initiative under the aegis of Ashtalaxmi Mahotsav, the Department of Art & Culture (GoAP) along with host institute Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) conducted a cultural exchange event at the RGU’s Rono Hills premises near here today.
Steered by RGU Registrar Dr N T Rikam, the MDoNER-led event was attended by 44 students from Goa and Uttrakhand, along with other delegates.
The cultural meet featured audio visual presentations from various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. The presentations were made by John Paleng (folk artiste), Toba Angu (folk fusion icon), Hage Rinya (artiste), Rode Karcho (singer-cum- composer), and Joram Riny
