WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- A man from Wyoming County was sentenced for felony drug crimes.

According to a press release, 46-year-old Chad Franklin Simmons, of Herndon, was sentenced to three to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine.

The press release stated that members of the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office found a large amount of controlled substances, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, more than $18,000 in cash, and a handgun in Simmons' possession after an investigation was held.
