The female driver of an early model Buick sedan was injured on Thursday evening when the vehicle left the road and rolled over in a ditch east of Jasper. The crash occurred shortly before 5:00 on Highway 63 about 6 miles east of Jasper.
The volunteers of the East End Fire Department at Holly Springs, along with State Police, sheriff's deputies and other emergency personnel arrived at the to find the vehicle upright after reportedly turning over one time.
The unidentified driver was taken by ambulance to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital where she was at last word, still undergoing treatment. Two other people were reportedly riding in the car but declined medical treatment.
Firemen and others soon removed the vehicle from the ditch and cleared the highway, allowing traffic to once again
