There was excitement and Bulldog Spirit in the air on Thursday as the bon fire was lit, igniting the homecoming weekend for Jasper High School.
The festivities began shortly after 5:00 with a Senior Parade down Bulldog Avenue which ended at the pep rally and bon fire which began around 5:30 pm.
The volunteers of the Jasper Fire Department were on hand to light the fire and make sure it was a safe event to be enjoyed by all.
As the fire began, high atop was the number 2026, the upcoming graduating class.
