BRS minority leader Abdul Muqeet Chanda has criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent statement equating Muslims with the Congress party. He accused the Congress government of failing to offer meaningful representation to Muslims, citing token appointments and divisive rhetoric.

Hyderabad: A senior minority leader of BRS, Abdul Muqeet Chanda, questioned the truth behind the ‘Muslim means Congress, Congress means Muslim’, statement recently made by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy during a public rally.

Muqeet said that if the Chief Minister was sincere he would by now have two Muslim leaders as Rajya Sabha members and at least two MLCs.
