WINDSOR, Conn. (WWLP) - Two Vernon men were arrested for attempting to steal DOT exit signs from I-91 northbound in Windsor.
The Connecticut State Police states that on Wednesday at 8:29 a.m., troopers were sent to I-91 northbound before exit 37 in Windsor for an active larceny of Department of Transportation (DOT) exit signs. Jonathan Riopelle, 46, of Vernon, and Andrew Lampkin, 42, of Vernon, were arrested and charged with the following: • Larceny in the Third Degree • Reckless use of Highway by Pedestrian • Improper Parking on Highway • Connecticut State Police • Connecticut State Police • Connecticut State Police
They were both released after posting a $500 bond and are scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on November 21st.
