SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A Sarasota Police Officer, while responding to a routine call, found an opportunity to connect with the local community with some fun in the sun.
Back on October 6th, Officer Evedon responded to a call of teens being disruptive by playing football and hitting the doors of neighbors. When arriving at the scene, Officer Evedon immediately made clear to the teens they were not in any trouble.
After speaking with the teen’s parents, he informed them, “For the time being, if you know that he is going to call, just do what you can to stay out of his way”, and Officer Evedon was ready to show them just how.
