LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A crash has shut down a west Lincoln intersection and backed up traffic Friday morning.

At least two vehicles were seen with damage at the intersection of Sun Valley Boulevard and O Street around 9:40 a.m. Friday.

At least one person was transported from the scene by ambulance, according to PulsePoint.

Sun Valley Boulevard was reopened as of 12:20 p.m.

Southbound traffic on Sun Valley Boulevard is shut down for the time being, and O Street traffic is being constricted. Lincoln Police urge drivers to find an alternate route until the roads are fully reopened.

One of the vehicles involved knocked over the Detroit Lincoln Denver Highway sign, a sign that memorializes a historic auto trail that connected the three cities in the early 20th century.
