"On time and on budget" was the rallying cry of El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego's speech at the 2025 State of the County address.

The annual update to the public and community partners on Thursday, Nov. 6, was held at the County Coliseum and highlighted Fiscal Year 2025 accomplishments. Among them were improvements in El Paso County through a bevy of bonds, reinvestment in emerging industries like aerospace, and the growing list of businesses relocating to the county.

"Our culture, our norms and our values makes us extremely unique," Samaniego said. "This is something we have to hold onto because it has a tremendous value not only to us, but to the rest of the country. This is a special historical city that can embrace our county needs fully."
