SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAYS: A widespread Freeze is likely Monday night with wind chills in the 20s. High pressure will extend across the region through the weekend with 80s and humid conditions. A strong cold front will swing through the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry Sunday night ushering a polar blast.

Daybreak Saturday: Mostly cloudy inland and partly cloudy along the coast as a cold front will approach from the west. Morning showers are possible from US Hwy 1 to GA Hwy 301. There is a 40% chance of rain inland with a 20% chance closer to Savannah and the coast. Morning temperatures will range from 57° to 60° inland to the coast and all of us should warm to about 80° sans the beaches ~ 76°.
