LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The unseasonably warm temperatures in the 70s for November are about to come crashing down on Sunday. A potent cold front from northern Canada is swung through the region Saturday evening, ushering in the coldest conditions we have experienced so far this season.

A freeze warning is in effect from Sunday evening through Monday morning. The THV11 Weather Impact Team has issued an alert for the biting cold and the expectation of a widespread freeze on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

With temperatures plunging to freezing or below, the first freeze of the season is anticipated to impact central Arkansas.
