MARION — The Salvation Army of Southern Illinois launched its 2025 Red Kettle Campaign on Friday, issuing a call for community support as the need continues to rise across the region.

This year’s campaign aims to raise $250,000 to support local rent and utility assistance, food programs and emergency services. The campaign began with a Kettlebell Kickoff Celebration at the Marion Civic Center.
