HICO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Class AA No. 7 Midland Trail Patriots celebrated senior night in commanding fashion Friday, shutting out the Class AAA Lincoln County Panthers 66-0.

Midland Trail wasted no time taking control, scoring early and often while its defense kept Lincoln County off the scoreboard for the entire game.

The Patriots’ dominant performance capped an impressive regular season, as they finished 9-1 and head into the playoffs with momentum.

Lincoln County struggled to find any offensive rhythm against the Patriots’ strong defensive front and concludes its season at 1-9.
