A remaster of a beloved 1998 classic is getting a new-gen refresh.
Retro games remaster specialist Nightdive Studios has worked on some killer classics recently, bringing beloved older titles to newer consoles. In the past year alone, it’s done remasters of System Shock 2, Heretic, and Hexen. And it looks like it won’t be stopping there.
Nightdive did remasters of the first two Turok games last generation, meaning they didn’t get ports for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. Instead, we have had to rely on backwards compatibility to run these games on modern consoles.
However, Nightdive has now announced a new update for Turok 2: Seed of Evil, giving it native PS5 support with some new features and graphical upgrades.
“Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is now optimized for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5!
