A pensioner has died after a horror three-vehicle crash in Alloa. ‌

John McClumpha was rushed to Forth Valley Hospital following the incident at Clackmannan Road in the town on Thursday, November 6 at around 10:35am. ‌

John, 81, was sadly pronounced dead shortly afterwards. ‌

The incident involved a grey Audi Q5, a grey Peugeot van and a blue Audi Q3.

Police confirmed that the road was closed to allow for investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 2.50pm.

An image taken from the scene shows two police officers walking behind two of the vehicles involved in the crash. ‌

One of the cars is considerably damaged, and traffic can be seen building up behind the incident.
