Police are waiting for pathology and toxicology reports regarding the death of a two-year-old toddler who was allegedly beaten by Alexzander Israel Bentley-Lopez, recently arrested in Medford on domestic violence charges .

Child Died During A Code Blue Cardiac Arrest

The arrest of 23-year-old Bentley-Lopez in Oregon followed an investigation by the Albany Police Department after the Albany General Hospital reported suspicious injuries to the toddler, who died during a Code Blue cardiac arrest.

The police launched an investigation on October 20, during which they discovered visible injuries on the toddler’s surviving brother.

Mother Met Suspect on Tinder

The mother of the children told police she met Bentley-Lopez on the Tinder dating site, and he began assaulting her not long after.
