Peterborough off-leash dog park closes

This past week, the Peterborough West Animal Hospital let its client base know it would be closing its public off-leash dog park while it contemplates whether the service can again be offered at its Stewart Line location.

“Unfortunately, ongoing issues with rule violations and safety concerns have made it necessary to close the park for now,” the business posted to social media. “This decision wasn’t made lightly — our first priority is the safety and well-being of all dogs and their owners.”
